About Us

The Aberdeen Publicity Association (as we were originally known) was formed about thirty years ago as an agency of the Aberdeen Municipality, and over the years retained strong links with the municipality and its successor, Camdeboo Municipality.

Originally meeting in a back room of the municipality building, it subsequently used the Council Chamber. It then enjoyed free use of the old library building in Grey Street for about fourteen years until about a year ago when Camdeboo Municipality withdrew support and use the building for other purposes.

Now reliant upon raising our own funding, we are very grateful to Aberdeen Books and Crafts for making facilities available to us at their shop, a gracious Victorian house at 23 Brand Street.
