The KoperKetel Art Gallery & Cafe was recently host to Stephen Stubbs, who gave an informal lunchtime talk and concert with his baroque guitar. Around 20 people attended and were thrilled by Stephen’s knowledge and expertise.
Stephen is a musical director, conductor and lutenist nominated for three Grammy Awards. Currently living in Seattle he is married to baroque harpist Maxine Eilander whose parents live in Graaff Reinet.
Louise Van Tonder, the owner of the KoperKetel and an accomplished artist in her own right, was very pleased with the day and plans more events of this type to attract visitors to Jansenville.
